Deprecation and behaviour changes Typesense.
- The data directory cannot be used with the v0.21.0 binary after upgrading your Typesense server to v0.22. As a result, before upgrading, please take a snapshot/backup of the data directory.
- The default value for drop tokens threshold and typo tokens threshold is now 1. Please set these parameters explicitly if you were relying on the previous defaults (10 and 100, respectively).
- The minimum word length for 1-character typo correction has been raised to four characters. Similarly, the minimum length for a two-character typo has been increased to seven characters. This has helped to cut down on the number of false fuzzy matches. These default values can be customized using the min len 1typo and min len 2typo parameters.
- The id field can no longer be included in the collection schema. The implicit id field can be filtered (via filter by), but it cannot be queried (via q and query by). If you want to search for a specific identifier, create a custom field called _id and use it.
